The referee's a w***er.....

Recommended Posts

If we wasted a lot of time ok but to give more time than time left how does he come up with 9 mins from 4 he is a joke he knows what he did and im sure the ref association should look more into this these refs are getting away with to much, and need to be reported and lets start to see some outcomes as to what has been done not behind closed doors they are there to do a job and not cheat in my eyes he did. what if that had been our last game would he still be adding time like that, think of what the consequences would of been to club and us as supporters.

I have always been of the opinion that referees should be made to explain their decisions after the game - press conference on RK would do.

The referees at conference level ARE poor - either that or there is something rather underhand going on.

Just how do we not get the decisions in our favour for nearly the whole season?

People say things even out over a season but I don't think that they have.

Its been said before, but Saturday is a massive massive cup final. We've worked so hard as a club from top to bottom over the last few years that the town needs conference football. Yes we are a big town and i dont want to appear racist but a large proportion of the town is made up of Asians and how many Indians do u see down at the Fleet??? I think we need to have a pitch at the Asian community next season.

While on the subject of full time roles at the club, why dont we make the manager full time ?? Would Andy accept this position since he has his own business. Surely it would give him more time to assess things. Its been noted before but if this team went down i think the team would break up and feel we'd have trouble getting back next season. and i even wonder whether Andy would still have the hunger to continue if we went down. Still it wont happen, we'll win 5-0 on Saturday and we'll celebrate each goal with a massive pitch invasion, Halifax will complain and we'll get docked 3 points and get relegated !!!!!!!!

Nothing racist in that at all Matt.

West Ham are one particular high profile club to recognise the significance of community links and as such are probably the best in London for their work because they've set up development centres in residential areas where Asian (principally Bangladeshi) families are concentrated.

They have also linked these to their successful youth academy, but as such the Hammers are still not close to fielding an Asian player in their first team.

But it's definitely something that should be addressed by the incoming Chief Executive.

It does have wide potential as a fanbase, but then no more than our local schools.....

Sad to hear that Wilko was abused by Farnboro Fans on Monday, sadly I like others witnessed a so called Fleet Supporter doing exactly the same to the goal keeper at Leigh, This is also something the Trust will be looking into to help the club rid itself of this kind of behaviour.

I also note from the Reporter that there was a real suggestion of a foul on Wilko at the initial corner, which the ref missed.

Still, whats done is done - lets just concentrate on getting the 3 points on Saturday and making that late, late goal conceded against Farnborough, totally immaterial.

Incidentally, if we look at why we are in this position, it was really due to the middle third of the season - After 16 games, we had 22 points, and in the last 13, we have won 4, drawn 6 and only lost 3 - a further 18 points.

In both these periods, pro-rata for 42 games, we would have achieved 58 points - and a decent finishing position.

It was the middle 12 games, where we took only 5 points that was disastrous for us. Admittedly that period included several tough away games, but it also included the home defeats to Kettering, Margate and Leigh, and the home draws with Forest Green and Farnborough.

(Yes, before anyone says it - I must get out more !!)
