3 Month Planning Application

With all of the news about Management changes and relegation, it seems to have gone very quiet on the Ground front.

 

From reading the paper and forum it seemed as if the Council granted Slough Town FC 3 Months to apply for planning applications and get quotes etc...

If this is the case then has anything been happening behind the scenes regarding this as we must be into the 3rd month of this period now? Apart from seeing a rough site plan in the paper there has been no more news on this.

 

It seems to have been forgotten about all together, surely if this opportunity goes without any further progress the council won't think twice about it again??

To be fair .no news is good news..all that can be said ...there have been about 10-20 meeting since the 3 month waiver...things are moving albeit very slowly...

 

but be assured meetings are taking place...

Throw into the equation that the elections are less than a month away now and there could be a different make-up at the Council.

Assuming a planning application is put forward to the council, how long do they normally take to pass or reject?

Subject to the quality of the application submitted, Planning Approval can take anything from 8 to 12 weeks.

It may well take longer. Outline permission is needed first, and the fine detail then has to be agreed. At either stage queries can arise that delay things.
