Slough trailing at half time 1-0 from an Errol Telemaque goal. A very poor first half showing from the Rebels in which they've failed to create much against a physical and imposing Yeading back line.

Finished Slough 0-2 Yeading. Awful performance from Slough which never got out of first gear and Yeading looked comfortable throughout. Slough never managed a shot on target throughout the ninety minutes and only Wilkinson and Metcalf can come out of this showing with any real praise IMO.

Just cooled down enough to come on here. I thought it may take all week so quite impressed. Woeful performance from a very poor Slough team. I would like to say that the players were put off following the earlier urchins result but I suspect many of them could not even give a [censored] about the results or the league table.

Lead by the inept Browne we had no hope. Trailing one nil in a must win game he replaced 29 goal leading scorer boot with hodges who has not exactly set the world on fire. Don't get me wrong Booy was not playing well but we HAD to go three up front. We HAD to win.

Within seconds it was two nil. Obviously, this was not a direct result of the substitution but that was inexplicable. It was like replacing Lineker with Alan Smith, only on an appalling non-league level.

This is slightly more reasoned summary of what I said to Mr Browne immediately after the second goal. As I was worked up I did use more expletives. Mr Browne just shook his head. I only wish he had packed his bags long ago.

Leave the club now Browne. Let us have some pride.
