Cannot see what is wrong with the GK but not my specialist subject.If you look at the goals conceeded in recent times cannot remember him being at fault for many.Cannot say the same for our so called centre half`s.None of them would get into Chelsea Man utd or Liverpools team come to that.He is a copy of a post about kolo i made in Jan 07.My opinion has not changed.

 

I cannot believe people think this fella is a good player.Given goals away at Sheff utd,Fulham,Bolton,and at home to Pompey.I think he is nowhere near as good as people think.His best quality is recovery?What about not making a mistake in the first place.Rant Over.

almunia is not commanding enough,he doesn't make too many mistakes but if you want to win things you have to have a keeper of cech's quality if you can find one,wengers problem with goalkeepers is that he tries to buy a young goalkeeper like manninger or the polish kids,they may look good at an early age but after a while like fabianski they get found out.

I think Wenger needs to put his hand in his pockets for squad players. Players who know they are there to fill the gaps when needed. I don't feel this would be a demeaning role for a player, at the end of the day it's a team game and each player plays his part. Take saha for instance he plays this role well.

 

Can anybody tell me why we couldn't of called Vela back from Spain? By all accounts he has been on fire!!

I agree about Defoe. I have always rated him.

 

Vela is quality and apparently we are getting him back to play a part next year BUT it's a big risk isn't it? We need established players not promising players!

In all honesty arsenal outplayed united for long periods of the game but failed to kill them off with the chances they had.

Anderson outshone fabregas,i watched a different game.

Arsenal need 3 more players,a striker,defender and a goalkeeper although the keeper is not a priority.Maybe another couple of squad players although vela will play a part next season and players like denilson,eduardo(maybe),merida and other young players will play more of a role next season.

He is quicker, stronger and his passing is magnificent.

I love Fabregas but i really believe that he struggles againest midfielders with more mobility and guile.

 

Anyway Arsenal are a great footballing side but aint gonna win Jack playing like that.

He refused to pay 25 million for Torres so Liverpool got him but he wanted to go to Arsenal. If we had Torres we would have won the league and got very close to the Champions League. BUT that's the story of so many of our seasons over the last ten years. I'm used to it. UM I think we need at least 5/6 players.

fabregas still had a decent game yesterday but he is shattered as he hasn't had a rest and is still only 20.Most of our players look knackered as the games go on,whereas earlier in the season they finished games stronger.

5 or 6 players would be nice but i think realistically with the players coming through 3 would be ok.

Watching the reserves live at the moment,denilson is back for his first game since we lost to tottenham at the lane in january.

With him in the squad fabregas could of been rested.

he looked a class above everyone else in the reserves tonight,well the derby players anyway.Arsenal have missed him as i feel he could of really come on this season.should play a part in the last couple of games for the first team though.

we beat a very poor derby side 5-1 tonight.

Traore was quality as a left winger and showed ronaldo esque qualities with the step overs.very impressive as were a few of the young english players who were on show.But then again derby have only got 3 points from all their reserve team games this season
