Look @ Man Uniteds squad. They have much more strength in depth than Arsenal do.

Totally agree with Jenko. Wenger needs to buy well in the summer, or more arsenal fans will become disgruntled.

Smallsy, agree with some of your points, but Jenko is talking sense......

 

Eboue = complete sh1t and Arsenal fans have been saying it all season. Why didn't Wenger play Eboue at right back (where he played reasonably well last season) and keep Toure / Gallas together ?

 

Senderos = wouldn't get a game in the ESL, makes Sixy look quick and is a complete fcking useless player !!

 

Wenger has to take responsibility for shocking decision making - Walcott is not the finished article by a long way, but he scared the sh1t out of Liverpool every time he got the ball.

When Chelsea knew Drogba was going to the Cup of Nations, they went and bought Anelka........Wenger would never do anything like this ! The simple fact is, Arsenal have been tight with their money and this has cost them trophies. He needs to spend at least

I know we have Lightweight.........we also have 2 centre backs and a good centre forward - the problem is, we have no back-up for any of them !

 

That is why United / Chelsea are so strong.

Wenger has one of the worse attributes possible....stubborness and that stubborness will cost us trophy after trophy because he sticks by players even when he finally admits they are not good enough and sells them i.e. Cygan, Senderos etc.

In the summer and definately in January we should have got Woodgate, another midfielder, winger and Torres/striker but Wenger turned down Torres because of the money. Well he has repaid that at Liverpool by scoring 29 goals in his first season. That is what money buys...quality!

If Wenger isn't careful we may struggle next year. We need 4/5 players in the summer, maybe more, as well as getting rid of the dead wood - Senderos, Gilberto, Hoyte, Traore, Eboube unless he sticks to right back.

Jenks I must say this is the first time you made sense its plan to see that if the Scum add 2 or 3 top players and wenger does have the money to spend you would be a much better team even if it hurts me to say that but common mate players like senderos would not get in any other team in the league and that

i agree with the goalie,senderos & eboue need to be shifted out

Don't agree about the strikers,although with eduardo out till at least xmas we probably need a replacement for him but we have been unlucky with injuries and the severity of them this season,every team loses strikers at some point but having van persie out for 3 months and losing eduardo for at least a year is more than most teams can cope with.

Walcott is still a kid but has shown plenty of promise the last few weeks,i cannot blame wenger for starting him on the bench on tuesday although in hindsight it would of been better for him to take off eboue at half time and bring theo on,but he has had a greater impact as a substitute this season.

Wenger probably puts too much faith in his youngsters but then again with the players he has brought through in the past you can hardly blame him.

Wenger has won things before and he will again but it is made harder for him nowadays as before there was man utd challenging and now there are chelsea & liverpool(in champs league anyway) who are capable of winning the major trophies and maybe to a lesser extent next season the scum,villa and man city.

For arsenal to have competed with man utd over the last 10 years is credit to wenger on a budget which is less than what teams like leeds and spurs have had let alone man utd.

lehmann is a c u n t,was a good goalkeeper but gives away stupid fouls like the penalty at the lane when we won the league there.

I am still p1ssed off about that and it was 4 years ago!

As far as wengers attitude goes i quite like the fact he is a bad loser,it shows he cares about the club and he will defend his players till the hilt,i would much rather wenger than someone who doesn't give a toss about a club like avril grant,mourinho was the same as wenger but he used sarcasm to show he had the hump rather than just coming out with comments like wenger does.Either way they are the same,just come across different

Fair comments UM - I just think we need more strength in depth and could have done a lot worse than signing someone like Defoe - an out an out goalscorer.

 

We should be in a position where the likes of Eboue and Senderos don't even make the bench, let alone the 1st team !!!

defoe wouldn't of been sold to arsenal,we all know that.

Wenger in the january transfer window knew that eduardo was coming good and didn't foresee his problems plus van persie was still only thought to be out till the beginning of feb before another setback ruled him out till mid march.With just one recognised striker at the club and bendtner not really doing it we have been under strength up there.But i believe that the next two years walcott,flamini,denilson,van persie,clichy and a couple of other gems they have at the club will turn into superstars to add to fabregas who is already at that stage imo,he has just been knackered like hleb because without rosicky and denilson being injured he has been unable to be rested like most other teams top names
