if your club could sign one player of premiership quality (the premiership where sky pay millions) what POSITION would you pick?

 

I have to confess this is based on Dorking's apparent view that if only the club had had a first class striker all year things would have been very different.

 

Would say Defoe have scored enough goals to keep Dorking up?

 

Or would Gerrard have got Guildford past Merstham?

Torres up front for Ash United. Missed a quality striker for the past 3 or 4 seasons. If we'd have had this last season i believe we could have pushed Chipstead.

 

To be fair, a Pomroy, Cooper or Anderson up front for Ash and we'd have been seriously challenging. Cant afford those sort of players though!!!
