What if...

Recommended Posts

I said on here last night that I felt we wouldn't survive in the Conference this season. Leigh RMI need to lose both thier remaining games and Woking need to get at best one draw and a loss, we would then only need to win one of our remaining games to stay up on goal average.

However, ponder this. Would we automatically be relegated to the Ryman, could we end up in the Doc Martens.

Woking were a Ryman team, so how would it be decided if we both went down? Would the better placed club have first choice as to which league they returned to? Would the most recently promoted club return to the league it had come from? Would it be decided by area? In relationship to each other, we're northeast, they're southwest. It's more expensive, with travelling etc, for a club to survive Doc Martens and the opposition are considered a lot tougher. I just wondered, does anybody know?
