Purchasing Wembly Tickets on Matchdays

Recommended Posts

Did anyone manage to buy Wembly tickets today? Working in London it makes it difficult for me to purchase Wembly tickets during the week. The Website advises:

"The office will be open from 1pm on Saturday (Woking) and 6pm on Tuesday (Aldershot game). It will also be open at half time for both these games."

Arrived just minutes after 3pm today (work) and was hoping to purchase 15 tickets at Half Time today. No tickets were being sold at half time today I was told but *might* be available for the Aldershot game.

I appreciate the Club/Staff have probably been over-worked this week but it does seem a "little" silly that tickets were not available at Half time on a Matchday, when most fans will be in attendance.

Were tickets available prior to the game can anyone confirm?

Again for the Aldershot game, it will be difficult to get to the ground before 7.45 kick off and I'm sure there are other people working in London who may have the same issues with trying to get hold of tickets. I'm not too keen on ordering tickets over the phone although realise this is 1 option.

Can the Club clarify if tickets will be available at future home fixtures and when during matchday they can be purchased? Thank you.

I got to the ground early to buy my tickets - wanted 18 at the side rather than behind the goal. Guy was very helpful: where you can buy tickets depends on which of our 3 sources you use.

Today, at the ground sales were for the blocks in the corners; I think, though I could be wrong, that the blocks directly behind the goal had gone - but I wasn't interested in them. As they have almost sold their allocation, the Club will be applying for more tickets & there will be some coming in next week, at the side, above the hospitality suites.

The tickets I wanted - lower tier at the side, but close to our end are available only for telephone sales, so I did not buy today, but will phone up instead 1st thing on Monday.

I wasn't really concentrating when he showed me where the MyFC web sale allocation is, because I had already seen where I wanted to be, but I think they were both behind & at the side but slightly higher up.

I suggest you take your credit card to work on Monday & take it & your mobile out to the bog at about 9.30 & phone 01474 569436.

Thanks everyone.

Phoned the Club today and ordered tickets. They indicated the tickets are sent by recorded delivery and will be with you by the end of the month.

If you have not received them by then you should contact the Club. Presumably the money will get taken from your card within a few days of ordering the tickets. However, the lady indicated they have sold the initial allocation almost, so it might be a case of the Club taking a few days between taking your details and taking the money if they are "snowed under" with ticket purchases I guess.

Wishful thinking on my part. No tickets at the side available by phone or on the web this morning. I take it you bought behind the goal, Jim?

Apparently more are coming in once all the lower tier are sold & this will include side view. How long can one hold out for tickets with possibly a marginally better view of the whole ground, without saying "b*gger it" & going for anything?

like yourself, I have a way to travel to get to Stonebridge Road. turned up at 2:55 on saturday only to be told too late for tickets, and Monday morning was next time they went on sale.
luckily I did wander round at half time on the off chance and yes albeit after a bit of confusion they were on sale.
Thanks for the back room team for sorting out.

Graham tickets behind the goal/In the corners. Not ideal I know but I'm paying for all 14 as its the only way I could drag people along, so if they start complaining where they are sat I'll remind them who paid for the tickets.

To be honest most of the people Im taking are going for the day at Wembly. Of the 14 only 1 has been to Stonebridge Road and likely to return.

Anyway, it doesn't matter if your a Fleet Loyal fan, a MYFC'r or Average Joe going to see Wembley so long as they are cheering on the Fleet.

Cheers for your advice BTW. My nerve broke and decided on getting the 14 tickets rather than "wait and see".

No and yes

Also been charged a handling fee on my credit card, something that I was not warned about when I spoke to whoever on the phone and before anyone says you should have expected it because it happens when you buy tickets for everything these days.....wrong!

I was not charged any form of handling fee when I bought tickets for the Aldershite game over the phone.

But then this time the tickets appear to have been purchased through MyFC and payment made through PayPal.

They arrived today. Bought 18 tickets at the ground, before tonight's tremendous game, in Block 552 - high up, just our side of the half way line.

I think the tickets should be sent when ordered as royal mail recorded delivery is no different to normal first and second class mail, there are no guarantees at all.Yes its signed for if/when you get it but it just goes in the same mailbag as all other mail,i know,i've lost a few addressed to and sent by me.Also, what about overseas fans who have ordered over the phone? Will sending tickets at the end of the month be early enough for them to recieve in time guaranteed?

I ordered my tickets on the 1st day they went on sale and have only had the money taken from my account today. I do hope they are sent before the end of the month as that's cutting it a bit fine. It's not as though I can pop into the club and pick them up if they're late!

However, they haven't taken the money for the coach travel. Anyone know if this is done seperately?
