Aldershot Tuesday night - big crowd?

Recommended Posts

I dont think it will influence the visiting support. Its their return to league football and thats what they want.

We could actually be outnumbered at our own place. How sad considering the 1000`s going to wembley who suddenly claim to "Follow the fleet". That includes the you lady who asked me to day which colour shurts we play in. You couldnt make it up.

Was good to talk to a couple of our USA visitors who are coming on Tuesday and have a genuine intrest in us. Shame the locals dont.

Mr Sheard and Brandon are good people. I thouroughly enjoyed meeting them.

I shall see you on Tuesday lads.

Just a shame about what happened at the end. Am still smarting about it.

I think that the thing in town was quite positive actually. I was in my element chatting up old ladies! :-)

I spent a few hours today with rsheard (excuse if a spelling mistake). How many games has he been to? Today makes one. But the guy flew over from N Carolina to be here. He and his son will make 4 games, go home and be back for Wembley, what more could you ask for??

The only thing that stops us all from getting on is that we're not just meeting up at the ground, it's far easier to slag people off on here than it is to just meet up and get on with it.

A load of us today met up in the middle of Gravesend and tried to promote the club. Were they MyFC? Were they original fans? It didn't matter, we all care about the same stuff. If there were more people like the guys that organised that we'd all be a lot better off.

Absolutely right! it's about time we stopped all this bickering and arguing amongst ourselves and think of the bigger picture - the survival and progress of the club we love. It doesn't matter how we came to be supporting the club, be it from a lad 20, 30, 40 years ago, or introduced to it by the internet - we are all supporting the CLUB. Let's just lay down our weapons and think what it's all about. Surely we're mature enough to be able to do this...

I think its great all the new people. Met peole from all countrys.

Germany , Holland , Finland (or may have been sweden) America Canada and Canvey.

Things move on and although I have reservations about the long term plan lets work together and let this people enjoy their visit. Talk to them about the club , answer questions and build a dynasty to be proud off.

Tuesday will be good for the first time fleet followers from USA and everywhere else as they will see the champions , see passion from their support and see what real football means to real supporters at all levels.
