Good point Willo. I also thought he was a little over zealous with the cards today, none more so than when Lee Scott got booked. It wasn't that kind of game today and time and time again Mr Henry lets himself down wanting to be the superstar.

Wader - I think you're thinking of Rob Mackay. Michael Mackey is a different referee altogether.

Football Man - I'm curious to know why you feel the appointment is well deserved as I don't believe PetetheGreek has officiated enough this season to warrant earning a Cup Final particularly the 'flagship' final of the SSML.

Has clearly performed very well over the season. Certainly in the four or five times I have seen him, he's been fine. Also, he can run!

I'm not doubting his ability however I feel that other Assistants are far more deserving cases mainly for having officiated at more games than PetetheGreek this season.

It's all in the public domain so it has everything to do with me, I'm fully entitled to raise the question and express an opinion and I'm sure I'm not the only one who believes there are far more deserving cases. What about Dave Clement for example, he should take precedence over PetetheGreek.
