19th minute - 0-1. Striker broke through using his strength to outmuscle Meddie, Carroll made a good save but the ball fell to Darren Pond who hit a first time effort towards goal. Connor dived to head the ball away, but only diverted it past Carroll who had committed to diving for the ball.

To be fair to Brian Connor, he didn't put it past Carroll for the first goal, but it was still an almighty [****!!****]-up. The ball went clean through the two of them. For the second one I thought their player got there in time to put it in?

I thought we deserved a bit better from this game but it's points that win prizes and Bracknell now have far too many of them!

Let's not be too shocked - that was always on the cards today. Thatcham have nowt to play for, and we were up against a good (and quite well paid, if you believe the rumours) Oxford City.

I get the feeling that even if we do start winning, it won't be enough as Bracknell are consistently picking up points.

Unfair to put either goal down as an og - first was a deflection at worst, Telemaque definitely got the last touch for the second.

Very gutted about today, i thought we did enough to get at least a point, but 2 moments of madness cost us dear. I thought we had defended quite well in the rest of the game, and created quite a few openings in a decent performance. If the finishing had been just that little bit better we could've had a couple more goals - two great chances both for Bangura i think?

In deep trouble now, with this 5 point gap opening up, we need to start winning next week and hope that Bracknell pick up nothing.
