Nothing wrong with Swanscombe! My Nan & Granddad lived in Church Road and we used to stop off there, on our way to Harmer Road Youth Club. Oh happy days!

I did a paper round in Milton Street and Broomfield Road when I was a kid

I always deliberately posted the papers in the wrong doors in Broomfield Road becuse they all thought they were posh

FYI - Rays brother Steve ( bert) has now taken over the Alma opposite Swanscombe station and finally turning it around after years of decline.

With it only be at the top of the hill its fairly handy for a pre or post match pint.
