This season with 5 games to go we've got:

 

P 37 W 19 D 10 L 8 F 74 A 38 GD +36 PTS 67

 

Last season this would have been good enough for a spot in the playoffs, so it goes to show that the league is a lot stronger at the top than last season.

Need to win saturday. all our games as important as each other now. Especially that game in hand against Sudbury next week.

Saturday is not going to be easy, they have only lost 2 home games, recently beat Sudbury 3-1 at home and have taken 4 points off of Dartford. They have also beaten us this season already so the boys need to be on their game and a performance similar to the Ware away is required if we are to take anything from this game. I am never one to be negative, so worth noting, that during our supposed 'bad spell' we were narrowly beaten by the top 2, had enough chances to beat whitam at home and Waltham Abbey, well no one could play in those conditions. The 2 away wins recently have been as convincing as the scorelines suggested, and in truth they should have been bigger, so we can go into Saturdays game with plenty of confidence and with the Yellow Army getting behind the boys from the off we are a match for anyone.
