they have appealed the decision though, so even after the season is over there could be a change to the table. the point has not been taking off them yet pending the appeal.

How can they appeal? It's their business to make sure that new players are not suspended. It only takes a phone call to check with ECFA.

aleegedly they didnt know, the player didnt know and brentwood (who they signed craig from) didnt know. apparently white ensign new but it was made clear to the other parties. ALLEGEDLY.

He hadn't played for Brentwood Town for a while and they were probably happy to see him go. The player had been sent off for an "infringement" playing for Ensign so the club knew when his ban was due to start. However, you say that the player didn't know, allegedly.

 

Tilbury should have covered their @rse and checked the player out at the ECFA to see if he had "form" before playing him. I can't see an appeal being successful, can you.

you never know with the fa mate. tilbury have admitted the mistake. shame for them though. personally i dont think it will matter because i see ilford beating them saturday and that in affect will relegate them.
