I got the train up to London for the Aldershot match with Kenny and his merry band of singers.

Very reserved we were.

 

However, the Fleet 'special' for a Cup final will be a very different kettle of fish indeed.

Whats it like getting away from Wembley on the tube? I know there were issues with this when the new Wembley opened?

Probably no worse than trying to clear Wembley by coach.

Althoughthe tube station was packed solid, the amount of trains stopping meant that the queue did at least move quickly.

It certainly wasn't comfortable on the trains, but it was only for 20 minutes.

HJA, as a Wembley regular, probably has a more clear answer.

I think I would rather sit on the coach and let the driver do the worrying as how to get out of the Wembley area.

Easy.

After one of the England matches, we were in a pub at Oxford Circus 35 minutes after the match finished.

We left as soon as the final whistle went (unlike loads of people who left well before) and avoided Wembley Way.

The secret is to cut across the front of the Conference centre and then go down the normal road that runs parallel to Wembley Way.

This brings you to the tube station in no time at all.

Have to say that we did get quite a pace on to do it in that time.
