Lowestoft Town and the FA Vase

....I went up to Newcastle at the weekend (Sunderland v West Ham) and there was over a dozen Lowestoft Town fans heading up for the game.

 

They were also on my flight home Sunday morning....I was talking to a coupleof them and they said that despite holding a 4-0 first leg lead, they were 3-0 down after 19 minutes! Squeaky bums or what...

They showed the highlights on "Look East" last night.

 

I can imagine they were proper sh*tting it going 3 goals down that quickly!

 

Shame Needham Market didnt make it, otherwise could have been an all Ridgeons final!

i was amazed they beat whitley 4-0 in first leg. when they came to concord in the quarter final they were defeinitely the second best team that day but somehow nicked a 1-0 win. their travelling support played a major part. their fans really are immense.

 

on reflection they have done ever so well to make it after going 3-0 down so quickly. they must have been very nervous.
