Ahh pabird, I've been longing to ask you something...

 

If I remember rightly you said a while back that you have two sons that have both made it as professional footballers. One is Craig, but who is the other? Could you enlighten me?

 

It's been nagging me for a while actually!!

I was thinking that too, but I think there are a few Davidson's around the football scene.

 

Isn't there a Daniel Davidson too?

Is that the one who plays for Stafford Rangers?

I know Ross used to play for Shrewsbury and Chester City because I had him on trial at Canvey on Championship Manager once.

That's another thing! Have you noticed on the new Championship Manager game that Craig Davidson is the only member of the Senior squad not on there!!

 

Cowan & Berquez are on there - they weren't in last seasons version, but Crow still remains missing.

I haven't got the new version as my computer is too slow to run it. Have they corrected their mistakes?Andy Sussex and Glenn Pennyfather still playing and Duffers at Northwich? I remember reading in the latest issue of Champ Manager magazine that they now have a researcher dedicated to the English non league stats. I think there has been talk about including the feeder leagues in future versions and with the Conference 2 now confirmed hopefully that will feature in a future version of Champ Manager.

It's all up to date, but they still have Danny O'Shea as one of our Coaches!

 

Some of the positioning isn't too great either Dave Gregory as a right winger!!

 

I reckon Eidos should consider an add on pack that is solely non-league. From the Conference downwards would be superb and then you can link up with the proper game if you win the Conference!!

The guy who is the non league researcher is called Ben Laughlin and is a Stafford Rangers' fan. Alledgedly all the Conference teams have an individual researcher. Apparently there are plans to develop the non league level further. The article said the main problem is the player ability range which is from 1-200. A lesser Conference player is considered a 30 so it doesn't leave alot of room for adding levels below that!!

 

I think this will be something they'll bring in eventually.

I had two go through the ranks

Scott was Charlton and then Millwal before leaving and going to college

Crow commences his masters degree September and Scott also commences his masters this year

Scott left Millway to go to Nottingham college his last game being partner to Teddy Sheringham upfront

Disatisfied with what he imagined a footballers life would be out of the top level he has never pulled on a serious shirt again

What it has given me was close observation of Charlton/Millwall/Aldershot/Brighton/Southend and Spurs in youth,reserve and first team coaching and mentality

Enjoyable trip but not always understandable

It bloody was your second chance of the game!

 

Who gives a sh*t about the Lino's performance, I think our offside trap works wonders sometimes. Besides we had about as many offsides in the first half as you did in the second.

 

As for you whining about Adedeji being offside in your own half, maybe you should remove some of the sand and paint a halfway line!

 

My report is biased cause it's written by ME, it's MY view of the game, and it's written for the CANVEY fans.

 

You don't like..........TOUGH, or better still write your own and email it to me! I will post it on the Canvey website, just as you have sent it for everyone to admire.

Yep, totally biased report. Made me chuckle though! However we view the game or however many differing views there are, the one thing that remains the same is the score: 2-1, see ya next season!

The Home players, home fans, and home manager along with the away players, away fans and away manager, the referee, each lino, the nuturals, the press...and mine!!!
