Taking the Fleet to the Locals......again

Have just posted this on the MYFC site. Keep up the good work - don't know if the following has been suggested. I've previously done a) for the Club. Cheers.

a) Targetting Gravesend Train Station during commuter hours. Currently there's no advertising there in relation to the Fleet's Wembly exploits.

Many commuters travelling to London from Gravesend already have Train Season Tickets that can be used on a Saturday so the only thing they will have to pay out for are the game tickets. Have a word with the Station Manager and have a poster put up in the coffee shop and maybe get some leaflets distributed early morning i.e. commuter hours and left on the ticket counters.

B) Have a PVC banner (As big as possible!) put opposite Tesco, by the 1 way system that will grab the attention of locals. The Fleet do this for regular fixtures but one hasnt been done so far for the Wembly final. Practically the whole town will see this.

Now that's an idea! I can handle weekday mornings - it's evening games I can't get to! Hello - anyone from MYFC out there...

Really like this idea. I will see if I can get some time and that of others to do this. Will contact BR and see what their response is. Also like like the PVC idea as once the campaign is over I have more material to make my underwear with.

Cheers Jim
