Entertaining game, both teams going for the win. We created plenty of chances, good to see Billy get a goal from what was his best game for us. Another error to concede straight after going in front was very frustrating, and, obviously is something we need to address over the summer. We did our best on this occasion, despite the conditions and lengthy injury list, and it's not these games that have left us outside the play-offs.

Despite the game being a draw, I thought the game was one of the most entertaining games I have seen down at New Lodge this season. Both teams were committed to open attacking football which the weather conditions did not stifle.

It was nice to see Burbs and Bricknell get a full 90 minutes on the pitch to develop their partnership, which I thought look promising. Leon is certainly looking more and more comfortable in the Captains role, in Dormers absence and was possibly a contender for MOTM, alongside with Billy Bricknell and Dave McSweeny (McSweeny is putting in performances worthy of the award nearly every game).

It's a shame that we were in such a poor condition earlier in the season because some of the performances that have been put in by individual players to get us within a shout of a play off place deserve better as does the performance by the managers, who are certainly as responsible for getting us where we are.

I thought it was an excellent game, some of the football was very good, especially in the (yet-again) ropey conditions.

Both sides can probably point to chances that would have won the game for them. I thought we edged the game overall, having spent most of the second half camped in their final third.

My MOTM was Bricknell, I thought it was his best game for us so far and re-affirmed the opinion that he needs a big bloke up alongside him to be seen at his best. I also thought Macca and Leon had strong games.

I thought the effort and committment shown by the players was top drawer yesterday and I'm sure that the Management will be looking for that to continue in our final few games as they decide the way forward for next season.

Really enjoyed the game yesterday. Let's see if we can get a win at the Wombles next week.

Come on you Blues!!

I have to agree with all of the above.....a very entertaining game...both sides coped well with the conditions....how their keeper saved that shot from Burbs...I'll never know..I suppose a draw was a fair result ,considering both teams played attacking football, every member of the blues ,played well...it was hard to pick MOTM....maybe Billy ....just shaded it for me...I think we should now concentrate on our next 4 games and see what unfolds....for me and mrs oleg....this has been an amazing season...albeit a better 2nd half with jason and grant

I left the ground quite pleased with the result, obviously not overjoyed but pleased that we kept plugging away.

Yet again i thought BWG was outstanding but to be fair it would have been difficult to choose one player for MOTM.

Grant / Jason combo is alive & well and still working.

Just need to get it all to pan out now for the next few games.

Forget play off pressure and lets play football

(ark at me like i know what i'm talking about) lol

Come on you Blues....

I agree that it was an entertaining game with chances at either end. Thought you did a bit more with yours than we did, certainly our keeper had more saves to make.

As always we had a friendly welcome yesterday, its always a pleasure visiting New Lodge.

It's a shame you had all the injuries this season, but your current management duo have got you playing some good football, and assuming you can build next season's squad around what you've got now, you'll be up the right end of the table (all of course assuming you haven't gone up through the play-offs).

Good luck for the rest of the season.

Injuries have been a complete nightmare for us this season Steve, but they will always have a greater impact when running a small squad.

Yep, it was a good entertaining game of football with both sides giving it their best shot in the sticky conditions. I thought we had the better chances but not a lot of luck.

Bill n' Ricky have shown good potential as a pair up front, I don't think we have had a real 'Pair' since I have been at the club so I am interested to see what they can do over the coming weeks. Bradley now looks a natural in his role out wide and his ever increasing goal tally is justifiable reward for all his hard work. David 199 games McSweeney was a rock as usual, Leon has regained his form and put in another fine performance. A top effort by all the boys.

Thanks SteveR, Billericay is more then just football, its like a big extended family to me and i am glad you felt welcomed. Blue fan. ps I thought your goal keeper took the banter really well, he seemed to enjoy having a laugh with us.
