I've lost patience with Trott, Geoff. He's had two years to strengthen the defence, and he's failed. Why wait another year to see if this happens, with his limited contacts. I don't see any signs of it happening, and frankly I wouldn't want to take the chance, if I was the man making the decision on whether or not he gets a renewed contract.

As the season is practically over, I just hope we don't renew Trott's contract in the summer. We need a fresh start. Perhaps a new man would take a fresh look at the squad in all areas, and wouldn't have to worry about upsetting his mates if he drops them or moves them on.

Not upsetting mates if you drop them! Sounds like an average clicky Sunday morning football team to me!
I'm enclined to agree with the above.
MFC will not move forward unless Trott goes and so does a long standing board member. I'm sure many people wait to inject money into the club but do not because of that board member!

Just wanted to get this thread back to the top because until the club takes a new direction i.e. forwards instead of the way we're heading. Trott has "achieved" jack sh!t in two and a bit years.

"Give the man a chance".

"He's had his chance".

Next stop Ryman Division One.

SUGGESTION.

There's a floodlight trophy game, at Deal, tonight. Now if it's anything like the game I attended a few weeks back at Hartsdown against Ashford why don't we (as many as possible) attend for the following reasons.

1. It gives us all an insite into how good our 1st team fringe players and better reserves are.

2. Might just make some realise that there's a couple of players there that look very good. I know I did! But can not know with any conviction if they can cut it in the Ryman Premier.

3. It only cost me
