Another inept performance at home against a poor Harlow side. I have lost all confidence in Trott.

Until he is shown the door, this club is going nowhere.

Terrible performance, we can't blame the weather as Harlow managed to deal with it better then us. NO SUBS AGAIN :@

 

If Harlow were half decent we would have lost comfortably, the same could be said for Wealdstone and if Ramsgate could play football we probably would have lost about 5-0.

 

Things are getting worse for us on the pitch which could spell disaster off it.

I thought RT was MOTM personnally, without him we'd certainly have lost. I think we should all get behind him, encourage him and have faith in what he's about to do.

I really believe he is building the youth to bring youngsters in. Probably spend another season in the Ryman Premier and then see us progress season on season up the leagues. As the youngsters in turn progress and get stronger.

It won't happen overnight but let's all get behind them, encourage them and in turn we should all be rewarded. If you want him to panick buy because the fans are all on his back then it will all go tits up for us in the long run, but might be good foe a season or two.

It's our choice Lads, what would you really prefer to watch?

Personnally I want a team we can follow for the next 15 seasons (because of there ages) marching up the leagues. With Trotty at the helm because it will have been his faith in MW and the youth set up that will do it for us!

Point taken, but our experienced players are too old and slow,so the blend of youth and experience will not work-and will just lead to our freefall to Ryman south.

 

I could accept 24 months in ryman premier, but fear RT will lead us to oblivion and ryman south

Blew it last year imo. Had as strong a squad as our conference days and couldn't even get into play offs. He is past his sell by date on the pitch and cannot manage players - just look at what happened with Brayley, Standen and now Side not to mention the incident with SCS. He talks about the future with the youth and reserve set up but doesnt play them even today - why no changes again? We need an experienced man in charge, someone who commands the respect of the players and motivates and gets the best out of them, not just slag them off and make crazy decisions. Lots of changes before next season methinks.

I admire your positivity. Unfortunately, I have been to every game this season and have seen the fundamental flaws in Trott's management and this has really sapped my enthusiasm. I feel we are set for a season of struggle next season if we keep the clueless Trott in charge. He has no clue about the youth set-up. The most damning sign of that was his decision to play 30 year old Robbie Summers in the KSC game on Wednesday. Simply unbelievable.

All the time that the playoffs are mathematically on he has to keep fielding his strongest and expierenced team because the BOO BOYS in the stands will be on his back as soon as the 1st ball is kicked. Not only making his job harder but making the young lads think they are not up to it.

I saw him make one mis-pass today and THEY couldn't have a go at him quick enough. Mind you some did have the descenty to applaud him on his clearance in the 1st half from the free kick.

Personnally I think the rest of us that want to get behind our team should turn round on the "BOO BOYS" and start shouting "SHAME ON YOU" and pointing our fingers at them. Supporteres should be that and not hinders of the bigger picture.

Sadly this is the sort of blind faith that would see this club embarrassed next season. This must not be allowed to happen. We have to act. Trott is a good guy but I'm afraid he is not cut out to be a manager.

Spot on Paul. I'm sick of people saying "Get behind the team" or labelling us all as "Boo boys". I am proud to say that I am one of the most vocal supporters we have and, therefore, do my all to support the team. All season we have been a credit to the club and, at times, our support has been up there with the best in this league. Take Ramsgate for example: we were singing almost all game, yet no good came of it. And then, when we criticise Trott, we are suddenly labelled as "Boo boys" who aren't true fans. Do me a favour! We are some of the truest fans we have.

 

Today just proved that Trott's time is up. We offered nothing against a truly dreadful Harlow team; I dread to think what the outcome would have been if we were playing Chelmsford, for example. Created nothing, woeful at the back (typified by the pathetic piece of defending for the goal) - there really are very few, if any positives to take from the game. And, yet again, no substitutions! What is going on!?!? Why even name any players on the bench if you have absolutely no intention of using them? It just baffles me. No tactical awareness, no man-management skills, no anything. I really can't see how anyone can justify keeping him in charge for another year after today's debacle. Get rid of Trott and get rid of a number of players who are clearly past their sell-by date.

The defence has been krap all year. Nothing will change til next year.

I'm probably one of those blind faith people but in general I am with Geoff Pay on this.

 

What has Robbie Summers age got to do with the situation anyway, or anybody else's age? You haven't said whether he played well or not - that is surely more to the point.If someone is up to the job then they should be picked.

 

And as for "we have to act" - just who is we? It is a bit like saying "something must be done" - but by whom?
