I thought Hector Varela was at Lowfield when he rang me about 3.45 as there was a lot of noise in the background but then he said he was in Elephant and Castle, he obviously feels that he has enough information on Hoddesdon for next week but it's useful to know that they failed to kill off Arlesey when they had every opportunity to do so.

Hector already has his compiled for next Saturday and besides I'm sure you will be siding with Hoddesdon next Saturday, why would you want to help us.

Did you go to Hoddy then Horace??? I'll have the dosier if its more than, they played in White and scored as many as Arlesey I'm ready for the biggest game of the season now they are 4pts ahead and level in games!!!!

they blew the chance to take a6 point lead. They actually scored on 89 minutes but a lino rubbed it out for a push! Not a popular man!

No - not PTG! He had alot of work to do all afternoon, as Arlesy relied totally on an offside trap which Hoddesdon fell into easily (whoops, giving stuff away for free!)

Thats alright we all know strikers are to thick to realise that defenders are slow and they don't need the head start!!!!

Willo - picture this. Your team is 1-0 up against inferior opposition. They are beginning to get intothe game and exert some pressure. Your main striker has been caught offside repeatedly, but the lino is flaky, and WILL miss one.

 

Do you (a) withdraw the striker and put on a midfielder to stiffen the side up, or

9b) leave the striker on to wait for the "one that got away"

Leave the striker on, have a bitch on the sidelines to distract said lino and watch him pound the back of that net!

 

Unless the midfielder has scored over 20 goals this season
