Good game although only 0-0 with lots of chances to both sides.

A lot more structured and motivated team working well together and linking up for some good moves.

Outstanding performances from Prichard in the middle and Grey on the left.

Both sides missed some sitters and it could have been 5-5.

The ref and his officials were poor and inconsistant, missing obvious decisions and getting others the wrong way.

Now need this type of commitment and motivation for the final games this season.

Well done to the team.

Enjoyed the game. Where did the new striker come from? I think we definitely benefited from his presence up front, he had some nice touches and a will to want and win the ball.

Pritchard man of the match for me, seems to have an age on the ball and 9/10 picks the right pass. Some fantastic balls to spread the play.

Awesome luck at the end there with them hitting the post too!

A good battling performance, a shame we couldnt score in the first half, probably as good as we have played all season. Second half wasn't quite so good but we rode our luck, created a few chances but battled hard.

Bangura looked very good upfront, willing to chase the ball down and set up some of our best stuff, Pritchard was very good in midfield too. Was good to have Rendell back, and him and Gray being played in the right positions this time, and Gray looked good on the wing.

All in all a good performance but we need to keep it up in the remaining games. Well done lads.

Excellent performance and we actually posed a real attacking threat. Sure, we rode our luck at time particularly late on but we definitely deserved at least a point. John Gray was excellent first half down the left wing and Bangury made a good debut showing neat touches and a real desire to chase balls down. Terry worked his socks off and again Pritchard showed himself to be a class act with plenty of time on the ball. Shame we could not nick all the points but was really encouraging.

Pretty much agree on what everyone says. Good performance and a point was the very least we deserved.

Pritchard was the best player on the pitch for me. Picks out a pass and looked to have been denied a blatent penalty when he was pulled down in the area second-half. Could not judge the handball appeal penalty claim though as I was too far away.

Having Gray at left-wing as opposed to left-back was like a new signing. It worked much better with him being left-wing back and Rendell at left back.

Bangura looked good especially first-half but faded a bit second, but looks like a useful addition. Still think we need another striker though to add into the mix. Just a shame Terry could not take one of those chances in quick succession second half. Lucky in the end though when Danny Jordan's shot hit the post and rebounded to safety.

We must show the performance and attitude we did today though for the rest of the season though. It's no good playing one decent game and then having ten bad ones (like the Farnborough performance). Lots to build on though.

Really enjoyable game of football - with loads of goal mouth action. Must have been really hard playing on that sticky old pitch, but we really battled and passed the ball around. On another day, Terry would have scored, although Hayes had plenty of chances as well.

I think AFC Hayes are a credit to the league and a good example of how to run a club that hardly gets any fans. They obviously concentrate on the bar side of things. There tannoy announcer thanked us at the end, and their chairman came over after the game to wish us luck in the quest for a new ground. There was a free buffet as well!

One of the best nil-nil games in ages. I'm glad I deccided to watch as a fan and not as a photographer.

Man of the match for me is between John Gray and Pritchard, followed very closely by the rest of the team. Bangura made a great difference to the attack, always hassling and fighting when Hayes had the ball.

The whole team battled, had some good chances to score, and for once our luck held out in the the last minutes when Hayes hit the post.

It was also good to see Derek Sweetman showing a lot of appreciation towards our players as they were substituted, on how well they had played.

This was a good team performance. Let's hope it continues onto the next game.

I would like to thank Hayes for the free buffet after the game, and to their chairman who came up to us to thank us for our support and to wish us luck in staying up, and for our new ground.

After all I'd said in the preview about how many goals AFC Hayes had scored and conceded, and how neither team draws games very often, this was always going to end 0-0!

Having said that, it was a very entertaining game and one which I feel we should have won. AFC Hayes have nothing to play for and were there for the taking. It was the second best performance I've seen from us behind Farnborough, but the lack of a targetman is still evident. The new guy Usif looked sharp and was full of running in the first half but faded in the second half. We did get lucky with their two chances right at the death but in all honesty Terry had two easy chances which he should have buried.

Good performance and a point isn't bad, but we needed three and need to get something from Oxford next Saturday.
