Problem is, if we sack Trotty we also lose a full-back as well as a manager. He may as well stay until the end of the season - we're not going anywhere this year anyway

I am very worried about the squad. Someone commented on the fact that Charlie Side has gone and it was a good thing as he seemed to be overweight. Ryan Peters has been having a mare over the last few weeks, yet everyone raved about him when he came. Luke Coleman looked a great prospect when he came here on loan but when signed his game dropped off, and last but not least SCS has had a terrible time lately yet everyone, including non Margate supporters were saying he was the best in the Ryman league a few months ago. Other comments were that we looked a lot less fitter after the AFC Dons game. When you used came to games Mike flanagan was on the pitch putting the team through their paces before the match. Where has all that gone? Once again today another lead lost when we were ahead and season definately over now.

That's the issue.

Its not as though we can expect better next season.

RT just does not have the connections and/or ability to improve a player /coach a player/system or spot a good player.

He signed some decent guys last year (maybe with Flanagan to guide him) but this year he has signed and released for various reasons:

goodfellow, watson, side -what was point of signing them in the first place ?

I have doubts about Coleman.

Harte was ok-but he obviously did not want to play for RT either-or he would have found a way around the job issue.

JJ,Mckimm,Haworth, skinner all way past their best.

SCS probably leaving

Can anyone seriously have the confidence that Mr Trott will be able to get about 8 quality players in the summer.

Can you see anyone realistically wanting to play for Mr Trott ?

Quite possibly the worst bit of defending that I have seen at any level. Ball goes up in the air and five blue shirts and the 'keeper allowed the ball to drop in the middle of them all to allow the only Harlow player in the box, and the shortest bloke on the pitch, to poke it home.
Everyone left it for everyone else. Absolutely shocking.
I have to find 200 words for the non-league paper report out of the game and I will struggle to find 20.

You describe it perfectly Steve. I can STILL picture it now.I was screaming at the time "SOMEONE go for it,don't just stand there looking".I think I must have deafened Joseba at the time as I was passing by. Sorry about that Jim.
