Wow - I was a bit hopeful at the start of this thread, but everybody's feeling the same (well, almost!). The crowd's the worry, but as one of those who travelled to Ashford, if you think it's depressing at the moment, you must have a short memory!! Despite then mainly being in Portsmouth-i used to travel quite regularly to Ashford,and ok gloucester to Margate does mean i don't get to so many matches at all now- but for me-the general mood now is worse than it ever was at Ashford.

 

Its not the ground ,but there just seems to be a complete lack of charisma about any aspect of the club.

 

I was at wealdstone last week ,and in the few home games i have been to this yeasr-i always look at the 5-a-sides-every pitch is empty every time i look.

Surely thats not very good.

 

It seems the life and soul has gone out of the club.

 

I do not wish to point the finger at RT but his 'words of wisdom' and man mahnagement surely do not help.

 

Still as it is a positive thread-assuming Mr T slavages a point today, he will have led Margate one point further away from relegation this season

However I SHOULD HAVE BEEN RIGHT! (But I wasn't).
