Rhodes, why infamous? This was from the glory days of the 'Wares'. The FA had to follow suit as UEFA had ordered a replay when a similar incident occured in a World Cup qualifier some weeks before.

 

Edgware had a great season, Treble champions with an incredible league points tally of 102. Won 32 Drawn 6 Lost 2. You will have to wait a long time to see that record season overtaken.

 

Incidently, 1 of the only 2 gams lost was to Welwyn Garden City the other was to Leverstock Green.

 

How Harrow Council could give the White Lion away after nearly 70 years of football is inconceivable, but the Wares will rise again to be a force in non league footbal, watch this space.

It's good to see Mr Starr get a final, thoroughly deserved as he's the best Referee I've seen this season.
