Played very well. Good atmosphere and a great day out. Getting very confident now we can make play offs if we play like that but the job is not done yet.

Pity most of the results today went against us too though.

 

Maldon, Bury, Brentwood, Edgeware and Redbridge all won, making those games in hand look like desperately needed wins and the games against Bury and Maldon, six pointers.

Surprised Brentwood beat Dartford. They've hit some good form since we beat them last month.

It is a shame results don't go our way but aslong as we keep playing well and getting the 3 points each week then we cant have much to complain about.

Lucky needs to start on Tuesday. I missed his and the Arlesey goal because I had to leave to catch the train, but was very impressed with the way we played and constantly created.

Noticed Ruggy took a knock near the end hopefully hes ok, Not saying this is good news at all because Ruggy is one of my favourite players at the moment but maybe this will mean Lucky gets a start against Witham.

Yeah, I wouldn't have had any qualms about dropping Jay Curran, but I hardly think Batchy can do that after he's just scored a hattrick.

That hattrick will do him the world of good. Think Jay has overtaken Ruggy as our top scorer.

 

Not bad considering he has missed large parts of this season.

Think it was his first in first team action. He did score a hat-trick for the reserves against Basildon.

 

Jay has scored 5 goals against Arlesey this season.

I think it might be too soon to start Lucky after such a lengthy period on the injury list. Would like to see him phased back in over the next few games so he 100% for the last couple of fixtures and potentially the play offs.

I thought we played some nice football on what was again a windy day. Richard Halle was superb in the middle, and Gab terrorised their number 2 all game. BTW, the #2 was sent off after the match for headbutting Gab after the final whistle

Great to see Jay back amongst the goals, his ratio this season is fantastic, 14 goals from 16 starts in the league
