Neilson signs for Cambridge City

Scotty Neilson has signed for Cambridge city.

Manager Gary Roberts has added two new faces to the Lilywhites' squad in the shape of Charlie Sheringham and Scott Neilson.

 

Striker Sheringham (19) has had spells with Milwall, Spurs, Charlton Athletic, Ipswich and more recently Crystal Palace, where he played in the same league as his father Teddy, who was with Colchester Utd.

 

This season Neilson has featured in 40 games for Ware FC of the Rymans North 1 league, scoring 23 goals. His move to City with reunite him with former Ware man Nick Mountford, who has been on City's bench over the last month.

 

Both players will feature in Saturday's match against table toppers Lewes FC.

I will do, yeh he is pleased he is finally pulling his finger out and starting to do something with his ability rather than boozing all weekend and just turning up haha. He played well on sat came on for 20 mins.
