Some clubs are quite strict on enforcing the 'no alcohol within view of the pitch'.

Our ground regs say they are not allowed.

If any form of alcohol was being consumed within sight of the pitch, then it's a ground offence at most grounds and they were lucky that the stewards didn't spot them or turned a blind eye. With regard to taunting opposition fans, then that's been going on for the last 44 years that I've been watching league and non-league football. Nowadays (thankfully) you get little more than taunting at grounds and the bad old days of the 70's and 80's has disappeared. I certainly don't consider taunting as hooliganism just the sort of banter to expect at matches - violence, missile throwing, spitting and any form of destructive or violently offensive behaviour is what I would call hooliganism.

So when the champagne comes out in corp boxes, do they draw the curtains,so they cannot see the pitch? or are they above that rule? just a question is all

Robert

I haven't had any problems when I've taken a camera to Stonebridge Road. I think that as long as the photos are for personal use only then there isn't an issue.

Others on here might like to add their own experiences if different.

Enjoy your visit!

Actually, you have me wrong here. All I want to do at a match is watch the match. What was most galling, though, was the 'We're going to Wembley, you're not' chant by the MyFC brigade. I can't help thinking of the word 'bandwagon' here.

Sit with us bernie...you might just crack a smile

Blimey lads, you know how to bear a grudge. I'm afraid I was the moron who ran onto the pitch (at half-time) at Northwich, and I'm sorry if I offended anybody, as for the greeting you might also have heard the Lionel Ritchie medley as it is my misfortune to bear a fleeting (ha, maybe that will crack a smile Bernie) resemblance to the former Commodores front man - I think you'll find thats what most people are referring to. We bought the linesman a couple of pints afterwards (you'll be pleased to know he was a bitter man), and being a good northern lad he took it all in the spirit it was intended. I may be totally off-beam but I suspect the players quite like the increased support (but of course thats not the point when there are feuds to maintain). You may have noticed Bern that none of the songs contained swearing or any bad taste beyond an arcane reference to Gary Glitter - anybody old enough to understand the reference is old enough not to be offended. If any of you see me at Droylsden please come up and say, "Hello! Is it me you're looking for!"

I shan't be at Droylesen and, judging by this assessment of the 'supporters' who will turn up, I shall be most glad to save the money.

It isn't about 'offending' anyong but letting our club down.

Apology accepted, however, if you never do it again.

They also like a nice home turn out now and again.

There are no 'feuds' to maintain, merely stupidity to watch out for.
