Why do stewards need to look intimidating, R Zimmerman? That's not their job. It's there job to make sure that the crowd don't start any trouble, get onto the pitch, and to be a helping hand if someone is in distress.

The pitch was no worse than yours is. Plus, we have groundsmen that go on the pitch during half-time and after the end of the match to replace divots and other stuff. I think that you used to have that, but not any more? Why not?

What's wrong with women stewards? A woman steward is at least as effective as that bloke that stands in front of your tunnel.

The need for proper stewarding goes beyond controlling potential troublemakers.

 

As whispering Fred reminds us at each home game, the main stand is of wooden construction, in the same form as the one at Bradford. It's supposed to be a No Smoking zone and at least one person smokes in there at every game.

 

Someone else referred to the possibility that a spectator could suffer a heart attack at a game. Or give birth. Or whatever.

 

Anyway. It's all in hand, I'm sure.

As for heart attackes George Borge gave you more practise than the rest of us are ever likely to get

Lets also remember whilst we are at it when in your previous existance you were a league side you could boast every season in having the biggest and one of the best pitches in the entire league network and if appearing tatty now then you are failing to maintain standards rather than improving standards

Go up into the Conference with grace otherwise you let down the management and players who finally got you there
