player coach ? are you sure

Jimmy Quinn made a bit of a fool of himself by not having a sub keeper on the bench and apparently the Guy who went in goal is their player coach !!! Mark Peters

He certainly doesnt coach kicking thats for sure, I have never seen a player who can barely reach halfway between the 18 yard box and the centre circle with a goal kick..perhaps he only plays 5 a side !! But certainly provided us with a laugh last night every time he attempted a goal kick before sense prevailed and their defender took over

Shame he wasn't tested more to see if his 'keeping was the same standard!

His kicking was poor, granted.

 

His overall display however, was admirable.

The 'keeper' did quite well, the save from George Purcells rocket was excellent and yet still, that so called 'expert' pundit Paul Parker said after the game that the stand in keeper wasn't very good. Setanta Sports coverage of the Blue Square Premier is top class, but Paul Parker needs replacing as their resident expert.
