and now, even if we catch Hornchurch we can't guarantee to beat them on goal difference - they won 6-0 today and have GD of +30, same as us. We need them to pick up a maximum of six points in their final four games, hope Hemel slip up and pick up 9 points ourselves.

It's more and more unlikely now, but stranger things have happened. Given the score of Hornchurch's game today, it would suggest they hit form at exactly the right time.

But saying that Wembley havre apparently released a few of their better players after what happened last week with Arlesey and have a weaker squad now.

 

As for today. Awful dry pitch - did enough to get four in the first half. We sat back and let them play in the second when we should have pushed on for a third. Hopefully though we were saving ourselves for Yeading?

Matt, with reference to the goal difference though, if we were to catch them, it would mean them dropping points and not gaining any goal difference, whilst we would be.

 

Unless they get two big wins and two single goal defeats, that wouldn't be an issue, but I can't see us catching them now.
