I was talking to an old mate of mine yesterday in the bar after the match and enquired what had happened to his son who used to play for Merstham and IMHO was not a bad player.He said that the he had met a girl bought a house to do up all the same old same old, but that he was playing in Sunday football (in a league).The side has SIX ex pros signed on ,three of whom play regularly.Man U, Newcastle, Wimbledon are among the League clubs, needless to say they are top of the league and in a cup final next month.I was wondering if any of you had ever come across a side that was in a normal league with so many ex pros in it?

I didn't know contract players were aloud to play Sunday football I think you will find its against the law in sunday leagues

speaking from experience we got thrown out of a sunday cup for having to many players from step 5 upwards. think it was a junior or intermediate cup and all the team were at teams from coco prem to conference at the time. wicked side won everything apart from that cup
