Scott showed his true form today & made 3 super saves but for me,yet again it was Smithy that shone. He has improved immensely since getting his place back & wow has he taken that chance. He now has bags of confidence & its showing in his play. He's not afraid to venture forward these days at set pieces & thats something he didn't do previously. He gets my vote for a second game running.

Was going to vote for Smithy, but went for Peters because he tried his best to get us going in the second half, even though he did get caught out a couple of times. Peters for right wing.

Yes Paul he did indeed show that effort but the three goals all came from out there.Twice the opposition had two players out there when he did get back & twice they muscled him out of things him & goals were scored. They could obviously see he was drifting up the field.Their third, the pile-driver was because no-one was out there or covering for him.I'm not blaming him because we all know thats not his proper position & he should have had that cover anyway & as you rightly say he was putting in the effort.

I think he's a cracking good player in his rightful position, though he has up until the last couple of matches been real good at full back too.

Putting him into midfield on Monday would frighten the life out of the Rams & have them in all sorts of trouble I'm sure of it.. I reckon he could get on the scoresheet too given that chance further up field.

I hope Trotty gives this some thought. Ryan is certainly chomping at the bit to be more forward thats for sure.He looks very hungry for goals.

Corbishley would be my choice at full back. Have been very impressed with him when I've seen him yet he never seems to get a run despite not letting anyone down. Whats up there ? Is he still carrying an injury? He's certainly speedy enough to play behind Ryan. I'm told full back is his proper position too. I think we should give this a go on Monday but will Trotty?

Sorry, just realised I diverse from the subject. M.O.T.M wasn't it?

Absolutely agree with you Cookie. I guess I voted Peters to provoke this sort of post, and you are on the same wavelength. Corbishley would be the perfect option at right back on Monday. Where on earth was he today?
