I guess it's not a surprise after so much pressure on the Trophy semi-final and then so many league matches piled on top of each other. But as Chas suggested, a Wembley final and a top-10 finish will be a pretty fine season. Nice to see Liam getting some loan players in to provide some cover for the rest of the fixture congestion. (And Opinel getting his suspension out of the way!)

It has been a good season, unfortunately some people expect much more! Fortunately, Liam seems to have good contacts in the game, and uses them to get loan players in.

I wonder sometimes about the teams overall fitness, playing games close together is hard on them, but now they are full time professionals, their fitness should be a lot better!

We really weren't very good last night.

Tiredness has set in with key players and those who have been brought in to replace them don't look that great.

Hearn was anonymous for large parts, he is quite good at pointing though.

Gary MacDonald was poor, he didn't mark either Westwood or Morrison who both then scored and spent most of the game shouting and mouthing off at his fellow defenders when they pointed out he kept playing everyone onside - Sacha didn't look too amused to be shouted at as MacDonald passed the ball into the crowd.

Playing McPhee at right back robs us off our midfield unit - Ricketts was fit and we looked better when he came on so play him at right back and put McPhee back in midfield.

Akinde looked knackered but with Nade and Eribenne injured and Moore easily pushed off the ball he still keeps getting put in - we need to bring a striker in on loan - John did score but it wasn't the most glamorous of strikes and he looked exhausted after 50 minutes.

The new guy Darius Charles is very one footed but couldn't do much worse than the guy he replaced.

The games are catching up with us I'm afraid.

I agree with Jimmy about McPhee. He didn't look comfortable at right back and has much more of an impact when he plays in midfield, so why didn't Ricketts start?

Lance had a bad game last night too. There was no communication between him and the defence. One thing I noticed this season was that Lance had become more vocal, to his benefit. The silence last night was deafening and cost us dearly.

Earlier this season Liam was interviewed about Akinde and the importance of resting a new young player. So why isn't he being rested when he's played a few games now showing signs of tiredness. We could have started the game with Purcell last night (not something I'd normally advocate!) as when he came on the game changed completely, like we actually wanted to win.

Our website and the BBC are crediting Bostwick with the goal, but I thought it came off Akinde. I guess it's an easy mistake to make!
