REGULARS AND WEMBLEY TICKETS

Recommended Posts

Does anyone else think that it would be a idea to put a link on this forum to a area on the club shop. where regulars can buy there Wembley tickets online, it's not as though there would not be time to have them posted to us, plus I would suggest that members of this forum, are far more likely to be a regular supporters, Someone is bound to bring up about MYFC members on here, so what, means most of them here are interested, or the odd wind up or two, but in the main, would give more true supporters the chance to buy tickets, without having to join the que of hanger ons. Give season ticket holders priority by all means, but also be fair to regulars. I would pay a £1 or £2 pound booking charge, so club can make a few bob to.Just a opinion.

Selling them during the remaining home games should avoid that problem.

Ticketing details are now on the club website. An initial allocation of 15,214 per club will be provided but this can be increased as demand requires.

There is no limit at present to the number of tickets applicants can purchase.

I don't have any details about whether or not season ticket holders will get priority but will try and find out.

For people thinking about block-booking so they can stand with friends, etc, one solution might be (and this is just me thinking aloud, nothing to do with the club) a group of people appointing an "organiser" who has an online Paypal account, everyone pays into it, and then the organiser buys a block of tickets at once. Would save any one person shelling out loads of money in advance.

On-sale date

Tickets will go on sale at Stonebridge Road and on www.myfootballclub.co.uk from 9.00am on Monday 31 March 2008*. Opening times at Stonebridge Road for ticket sales will be confirmed next week.

Just want to check, does this mean anyone can log on the myfc site to buy tickets or only members?

I.e. are all the non-myfc members (like myself) going to have to stand down the ground whilst all our "new" supporters can log on to the internet and get their tickets?

Am perfectly happy to queue down the ground, but hope something is in place to make sure the tickets aren't all being sold online whilst the regular fans are politely queuing!

And yes I know more tickets will be made available, but that isn't really the point, is it.

Anyone know if those of us that don't live in Kent these days and aren't a member of myFc will have a chance of getting a ticket without having to either

a)do a 700 mile round trip to queue at stonebridge rd

or

B) pay £35 to join something i don't really agree with?

Here's what we (TUFC) are having to put up with!

Quote:
Ticket Prices: £ 25 per ticket

Concessions: £ 12.50 (16 and under, OAP's over 65)

Wheelchair and personal assistant - £25 (carer is free)

TICKETS WILL GO ON SALE ON MONDAY 31ST MARCH AT 9.30am

Telephone bookings: Credit Card booking fee of £1 per ticket. Plus £2 handling fee per transaction (not per ticket).

Purchase in person: Credit Card booking fee of £1 per ticket. NO CHARGE for cash purchases.

Tickets requiring posting will sent Registered Post (treated as cash) which will be charged at £5.

Booking and handling fees are to cover administration costs and are as per F.A. guidelines.

Up £5 from last year, God bless the FA

So, for me, it's 3 adults, one child, on a credit card and being posted. Heaven help my bank balance if we get to a play-off final the next weekend as well!

Mainly because I'm afraid I'll end up sitting next to Riverview Supporter, who doesn't want to sit next to me.

But it's a perfectly valid viewpoint and not insulting at all to MyFC members or local one-day fans. Most of the enjoyment we all get from football is going with our mates, standing week in week out where we usually do and the banter that goes with it. To fully enjoy the Wembley experience, it would be nice to be able to stand with those we do every week.

That's not anti-MyFC or anti-new fans in the slightest, it's completely normal behaviour. It's like when I go on holiday, I'd rather do it with my family, not complete strangers... which is nothing against complete strangers, surely?

Agree completely. I just hope the guy I stand behind at Stonebridge Road isn't 7 feet tall so I can see. other than that, don't much care if I know him yet or not.

Are the club going to be offering tickets that include the cost of a coach trip. As these are the tickets I am after, and hope that we can get our tickets before the rest of kent does.

I dont want to sit next to someone who keeps asking "so who that", or generally talks about any player like sky sports or setanta do. I know these players, I attend every saturday home game, try to get to every friendly possible, attend away games up to 2 hours away from the dartford tunnel. The only reason I don't have a season ticket, is purely down to superstition, since not having a season ticket, our run over the last two years has been on the up.

I was there last year at dagenham to say thank you for the teams hard work, and to thank charlie and ross for their work.

I am a fan, although some will argue becuase I do not have a season ticket, or do not attend all the night games, that I am not, but I will sell my own mother to watch my team come out of the tunnel at wembley.

For the love of the team, for the love of the fleet.

I am fleet until I die.
