What happened to the Ash United supporter who always chanted for them?

am led to believe he had a row with one of the players at a game and never went back?. shame really used to be the worst bloke to play against non stop abuse for 90 mins so your dare not f**k up or that was you next in the firing line, great banter though.

Chas was, and still is the Ash United supporter you talk about. Unfortunately he doesnt come down anymore and this was for various reasons. I think the main reason was that after the dissapointment of England in the World Cup in Germany he just became tired and lost interest of the whole football thing. There were rumours that he was asked a few times by senior officials in the club and opposing clubs to calm his chanting down a bit. But this was just a rumour and i dont know if it was true or not.

 

He is a true Ash legend. Always a 12th man for the team. The team miss his support.

Charlie the post or Chas, was at times a pain, but a true supporter of Ash United, super super Matty (Everard) he loved until he left, he then declared him a traitor ! A football character for sure and missed by some, but not all.

K it will be interesting to see what the Ash United players make of the Reading Town Barmy Army when they come this Saturday.

If your drum has any metal on it I would keep it hidden mate ther are quite a few scrap dealers in that area and the travelling community can smell brass a mile away
