Car Parking

Recommended Posts

Pity Eurostar couldn't lay on half a dozen special trains, Ebbsfleet to St Pancras, then a short hop on the tube to Wobbly.

Given the publicity Eurostar are likely to receive, I would hope they let Fleet supporters park for £3 all all, as we are likely to fill the place with about 5000 cars. Fantastic revenue for them for one day, and without us feeling ripped off.

Sadly because of where I live I will be forced to complete at least part of the journey by car. But I ain't driving all the way! Any suggestions like using the Eurostar car park sound pretty good to me! I would hope our new owners are already in negotiation with Eurostar to get something sorted...

Hi All,

Just a quick note from us here at the club. (yes it is official, not just rumour), Greg has been in discussions with NCP, and the car park will be available on May 10th, but at this point negotiations are still ongoing as to what, if any, charges there will be on the day. We will post more information nearer to the time, and it will also be released with the other important final information.

Thanks

It won't happen, Andy. Eurostar are not licenced to carry domestic passengers yet on the high speed line - strictly international only.
I was working at Ebbsfleet a couple of weeks ago, an old boy (rather drunk), alighted by mistake thinking he was at St Pancras.
They wouldn't let him on again. He got a taxi to Northfleet station to Charing X, then tubed to St Pancras.
