I would've thought having a fully fit first team squad for Carshalton and Harlow would've been more important....

 

As it is, this Trophy has, for most part, been the domain of "fringe" players and the reserves.

I had Keys and Collins playing for GWR ressies 3 years ago and people should realize that 1st team football at step 5 is more competitive than reserves football in the Essex & Herts or even Capital league.It has that phisical and competitive edge you can't get in ressies football.Having said that there are some good young players in your squad.What happened to Craig Prout?Is he in the first team,injured or playing basketball?He is someone that will benefit from playing first team football at step 5.

I went too there were a few fireworks in the second half but nothing to set the world alight. Brimsdown look quite a useful side and gave our lads something to think about.

 

Up side is we wont have to worry about insuring the trophy.
