Histon Beer

Not having been to Histon before, can we get a beer in the ground ? or do we have to "dine" out ?

Although segregated, I managed to get into the bar, and a very nice bar it was too. No draft Cider so was on the draft Red Stripe ( sorry Claudius, Jamaican lager....whatever next ?!)Haven't had Red Stripe since I saw The Levellers at Brixton in 1999 !!

Make you right, nice bar and a decent pint of Red Stripe,

we had corporate tickets and went thru to their lounge where we had a decent meal before the game in the company of Razor Ruddock, Histons facilities put ours to shame.

I hope we have aspirations of corporate facilities to attract some celebrities in the near future, quite where they will be is anyones guess though....... perhaps we could set up tables and chairs outside the Gristleburger van !!

I saw Razor as the four of you came through the door to the bar ( I'd got in early !). Agree that the facilities were good.

 

Come the new stadium though.......maybe ours will be better ?!

I was told by a steward that away fans were not allowed in the bar. I was directed across the road to a pub that charged £3 for a pint of Foster's.

You're right Stu. I must confess to having a bit of "inside" help !!

 

But, just like any ground, if you don't have colours on then no one knows who you are anyway. Just go in the home entrance, keep your mouth shut and drink your beer !
