Trips to the seaside depends on whether Lewes or Bognor or both get promoted to the premier. Lewes is a bit of a wierd place but only a few miles from Brighton and they do play some good football. Last time I went to Bognor the bar was open throughout the game and you could drink your beer on pub benches while watching the footie....There's also Worthing, which is the sort of seaside resort where old people go to die, their pier is very quaint and the town smells of seaweed. All the teams get between 200-500 a game and they all sure beat a grim tuesday night in Essex in front of two men and a dog.

Slough playing them also means i save a fortune on train fairs and being surrounded by tottenham/chelsea/arsenal fans on the tube (at least i know no ones gonna hit me for supporting slough, more likely to pat me on the head saying 'there, there'.)

Remember going to Bognor and Worthing last year. Worthing had a nice ground and I remember it was FA Cup third round day cos we went in the bar at half time to watch the scores coming in. Only other things I remember were that Wilko got his first (and so far only goal) for the club, and they had a good lad in goal who was a bit of a laugh like the one Tilbury had this year. As for Bognor, seem to recall waiting for the coach after the match cos it got lost and the fact that I through a dart in Matt C's leg at the pub on the way there. Apart from that I don't seem to remember much of what, I believe, was a dull 0-0. Do seem to remember thinking their ground wasn't much cop though. May be wrong.

We were the last, or at least one of the last, team to be placed into a regional division last year, so it is highly likely given the promotion from Div 2 and the relegation from the Premier, there are more northern than Southern sides, so we would most likely shift across.

We are north of the river, but it will be the 24 most nothern teams which would be in the Northern, presuming they stay with the current North/South format. With the current batch expected to come down/up into Division One, I think we'll be one of the teams who shift across.

There are a number of feeder leagues into the Ryman of which I know the Essex Senior and Combined Counties. There may well be more, not sure.

All the feeder leagues are on a level footing with the Ryman Division Two, so it could be any four teams from any of the feeder leagues.

Mind you, once the re-organisation takes place, we'll plummet even further, but at least we'll still have a club to follow after this summer and it will be well run if the supporters trust can get in there!
