Trust newsletter. Not seen one this season!

Maybe my post was missed earlier in the topic of quiz night and end of season walk, so:

" Newsletter? I have not had one for ages. Didn't know there was one.

Don't you post them any more?

I used to print them (for free I must add) and therefore had first sight of them all. Since I do not print them I have not seen one. How many have there been? "

They have been produced (printed) for a few months now, and have been handed out to Trust members at matches.

At the moment there is no Trust website. There was going to be a Trust sectionn on the main STFC site on its revamp, but I'm not sure on the progress of this.

Fair enough, but I haven't seen one this season. I've been a trust memebr since the start.

A few others I have asked have said they haven't received any this season?

It isn't like I'm a part timer, so it is obviously not been made clear when there is a newsletter.

Do you still get them printed for nothing?

Sorry to bleat on. I was just catching up on old topics, when I read something Roger wrote(and this is not a dig at Roger), it says he was handed a trust letter. I didn't think Roger was a Trust member. I could be wrong, but my point is if he isn't and I am, How come?!

I'm boring myself now!

People can get hold of them from other people once they have finished reading it, or say they are members and we don't have a list of members when handing them out, so it is not improbable for non-members to see it.

When they are available, someone is usually just inside the entrance shouting out that they are being handed out.

Maybe a good idea would be to put up an A4 poster up on the outside of the turnstiles stating that a newsletter is available inside today.

It could be you just walked straight pass them to get programs, 50/50s or what ever without noticing.

Hopefully during the close season we will get a Trust section of the site together for Newsletters and such.

I did put a newsletter up on the site back in November (I think?) but I have no received the latest one from Charlie to put up on the site.

Used to get posted or emailed to those who can not get up much. Assume we are to hear news through gossip, rather than fact. I'm not there due to other commitments, not lack of interest, would be nice to get information for my money!

Roger did join the Trust at the end of last season and is a member again this season.

The newsletter has from this season been written by Charlie rather than me and has been roughly once every two months. They are just photocopying them I believe. There was one at the AFC Hayes game notifying of an EGM which was at the end of February and I believe the latest one was handed out at the Paulton game which summed up the EGM and the latest meeting and confirmed that I have now resigned from the Trust Board!

As for the trust section i'll be doing that over the summer. It was just a case of getting something up with regards to the site this season. We'll be adding more stuff over the summer and from next season we'll be able to allow the trust newsletters to be downloaded as a PDF if that's OK with the trust?

Hello everyone,

Firstly, I asked Roy to send out a message on the tannoy to let people know the Trust letter was available at the Paulton match - I guess this didn't happen? I also put a note on the Forum about it the week before...however, anyone who's missed the last two can PM me with their email address and i'll happily forward them.

Grandad - I had no idea there was an list of email addresses I could access to forward these on to people who couldn't attend matches - do you have any idea where they are? I'll happily set up an email round robin for them if people would like that - it would certainly save me stealing paper and printing facilities from work! (which is currently how they are getting printed.)

Tom- i'll email you the most recent one - that's my fault for not getting it to you earlier.

Gary - i think a big poster announcing letters were available might be a good idea - I'll have a look into getting one done and laminated.

Charlie, when I wrote the previous newsletters I e-mailed copies to Grandad, Tony and Rod, I will check my contacts list to see if I still have them and forward it on to you.

I previously checked the Trust e-mail account but gave up because I couldn't log on to it very easily and when I did it was full of crap. I can't remember the password anymore so you will need to check with Gary/Mike.

It's ok Dr, I know you weren't there with a big wooden spoon!

Your printing services would be most helpful - thanks for offering them. If you could drop me a line at charlie@sloughtownfc.net with your contact details, i'll let you know when we've got the next one coming out and will get in touch with you then.
