its difficult to understand that before a ball has been kicked there is negative postings about the credentials of the man. i was generally upbeat when i heard the news although i was sad to hear that Betts and Barney had left.

a grudge maybe especially if someone were hoping to get the job themselves, alledgedly grin

you clowns do disappoint me-what has financial irregularities got to do with motivating footballers because the motivator was a top player-NOTHING ! my thread was that nobodies ( sweetman ) find it hard to be sombodies-then reading you diatribe king tut i guess you already know that !!!
ps. can you please post the new managers past successes ?

Slough appoint new manager. Custer appears having never posted before. Custer slags off new manager.

Does Custer have personal axe to grind? Yes.

Should we pay any heed to Custer? No.

I for one am going to give Mr Sweetman at least fifteen minutes to prove himself.

For the uneducated, Colonel Benteen met George Armstrong Custer on Jan. 29, 1867. It was dislike at first sight -- Benteen found Custer “vain, arrogant and egotistical.”

I wonder if it is something to do withthe name.

Just read the profile on the new manager-it says he played for Slough in the 80's, have to say i have followed slough long before that and he don't spring to mind, so probably filled in when we were short or in the reserves-certainly not a big part player.

ted-king tut-amber ? could probably assess him better, wot with their wealth of football knowledge-or is that their knowledge of trolls( wot ever they are )

As you have it in for Del Boy Sweetman you must know something about him, so enlighten us!

Or are you just some sado who did not get the job and is now having a dig?

If Del Boy does not live up to expectations you can be sure the Slough fans who care about the future of the club will have their say about him.

As for you custer I think we have a clear opinion about you and it is somewhere below that of Heather "ive got wood worm" Mills!
