EASTER FUN DAY AT HARLOW TOWN

 

 

 

TO celebrate Easter, Harlow Town has organised a special fun day at the Barrows Farm Stadium.

 

The ‘Easter Monday Funday’ is an event for all the family, taking place on Monday 24th March and incorporating the Hawks’ massive derby match against Billericay Town.

 

Invitations have been sent to every single Harlow Town Youth player to bring their own families along for free on the day.

 

The Hawks have teamed up with local Peugeot dealer Bristol Street Motors on Edinburgh Way, Harlow to bring supporters a special competition on the day.

 

Plus, there will be an opportunity for some lucky fans to take penalty kicks before the game against a guest Harlow Town goalkeeper, as well as a raffle to win signed football memorabilia from top clubs, plus tickets to Broxbourne’s Paradise Wildlife Park.

 

Then at 3pm it’s all eyes on the pitch for Ryan Kirby’s side’s big Ryman Premier Division fixture.

 

Fans who aren’t involved with the youth set-up will once again be able to take advantage of Harlow’s Kids for a Quid entry offer, where all under-16s tickets cost just £1 each. Adults’ tickets are priced at £8, while concessions are admitted for £4.

 

The event follows the success of the Christmas funday in December, where supporters were given the chance to meet a real live reindeer from the wildlife park.

 

“We’re hoping to better the Christmas funday with our Easter event,” said a club spokesman.

 

“Hopefully we’ll have the weather on our side this time, and we want to see plenty of people coming along to give their support to the team.”

The Paradise Wildlife Park is pretty good - but I don't remember seeing a reindeer there ! It was July though...
