THe terrific news from Hartsdown Park is that that they are already starting to organise a coach to support us at Wembley.

Fantastic news, they have a great set of supporters and are (like us) a credit to Kentish football. link is here. and no, I didn't have anything to do with the thread title!!

All these glory boys a ? Let's hope the 546 ( less the Rushden fans ) who were there last Tuesday are able to get a Ticket !!

 

No doubt there will be a load of Gills fans jumping on the bandwagon as well, to see a decent game of football !!

 

As I said to the lads in the pub at lunchtime, half of me wants there to be 30,000 fleet "followers" there & half of me wants to tell the "glory hunters" to f*ck off, or at least come to a few home games !! Oh well......

If you added on the highest home attendances for every football club in Kent to the record crowd for a Trophy Final, it still wouldn't sellout Wembley.

On our previous three trips to Wembley, we've had between 20-25,000. Not bad for a team with home averages around the 2-3,000 mark a lot of the time. Like you've all said, you tend to get a county-wide support during these times. We say "the more the merrier".

 

Hopefully, our numbers won't be affected by us possibly going to Wembley the following weekend in a play-off final.
