A "snapshot" today reveals that we need 13 points from our last 7 games to be mathematically sure of avoiding a bottom 4 place. That's an average of 1.86 points per game; more than the 1.46 we've achieved so far.

In truth it will take less than that, presuming the bottom clubs don't perform miracles!

But we'd have to win our 4 home fixtures (which include Staines & Hendon) & pick up at least one point from our 3 away (which includes AFCW & Horsham) to achieve those 13 points, which would put us on 64 for the season.

In 05/06, when we dipped out to H&R on the last day, we achieved 69 points.

Have you looked out of the window today Dill? Or are you still waiting for them to be fitted?

I was going to launch into a Loco rant about my 10 bedroom house and drop a few mentions of caravans but hey what the hell City won,Chelsea won , the rain means the chores Mrs Dill wanted doing are off & I can waste my day on here whilst supping a few Kopparbergs .

Tis true the hatred of CCFC is all encompassing , but as I sit here in my 11 bedroomed house it worries me not , unfortunately I have occasion to mix with the hoi-polloi that infiltrate my club , still no worries I will increase security numbers next season , I mean I can remember as far back as the halcyon days of Jamie Richards scoring the home coming goal , where did we play prior to that ?

So it'll be the dizzy heights of Fisher, Braintree, Bromley & H&R for you boys next season Dill.

It'll be just like good old times at New Lodge for you.
