Aldershot fans?

Recommended Posts

harry,

you ought to hear the twats on their message board. Keep moaning about how quiet you all were.

Not a happy bunch of campers. Moaning about losing to two dodgy penalties, and although most recognise Ebbsfleet were the better team, they can't stand it. It's almost like, 'how'd we lose to these little fookers... they don't deserve to be mentioned with us.' ...

One message for 'em.... 'how'd you like them apples?'

By the way, for all you long time, die-hards... congratualtions. This must be a great, great day for all of you and the club. Harry, I hope you are going to get so [****!!****]-faced you won't know where you are, just don't take the camera with ya.

Have a great night everyone. It's at times like this I really wish I wasn't in the States.

i think they all departed early to give us a torrade of abuse outside that pub and throw coins and bottles at us at the bottom of the hill. a few unsavoury moments at the station but im not letting it dampen my day im too ecstatic. The Fleet are sailing to WEMBLEY

Yeah I've read them. To be fair though a lot of them are defending our corner.

This thraed is all about supportership and how you chose to support your team. I can think of two supporters that go to every game, they don't often sing and don't make a whole lot of noise but they're there every week supporting the team in their own way. Today was my 150 consecutive match and both have a better record then I do, ie more consecutive matches. It doesn't make them any more fans than I am nor does my record make me more of a fan than someone who rearly goes to away games but went today, we all chose to support the team in the way that we do.

I'll be at Histon on Tuesday, with about 50 others but for me that attendance just makes days like today even more special. I'll also be at Wembley with 25,000 others and that will feel fantastic.

Up the Fleet!

Fair play to you, over the two legs the better team won it - Shots first half at your place was as bad as we've been this year, and always likely to be what decided the tie. Apologies also for the mindless few.

In general Shots fans are a great bunch - several hundred of us stayed behind to cheer our boys off, and gave your players the reception they deserved. Not our day, but in the grand scheme of things if someone gave me the choice of the final or the title, it would be title every time.

Good luck for the final - hopefully a few of those who made the journey today will make it to a few more of your future games.

According to my mate, there was a lack of police presence at the bottom of the hill, so they all marched of down there and punched a fleet fan, who then, like all the other fleet fans in that area, ran off to safety. No one was seriously hurt I'm glad to say.

Their main gripe about our noise and singing is that we didn't hav much variation. Just three or four songs and we stuck to them.

When we san though we were loud. I've not heard anyone make as much noise as that when we scored, I tink the noise for the goal was louder then the final whistle.

Our noise can be measured by whether or not I can hear Kenny and I couldn't so we were pretty loud.

Noise wise, you were okay a few times, but generally not that great. Having said that you made a fair bit when the goal went in.

That apart though we only heard you 2 or 3 times on the other side of the terrace. Think we suffered a bit second half as nerves and realisation it might not be our day set in.

There was a set too down the bottom of the hill with about 12 aldershot fans. Me and my mate were parked at the station and made for the car to avoid the trouble, only to be followed all the way by said meatheads! Was waiting to be asked who we supported!

Was the usual at Aldershot, but for once we had reason to hang about at end rather than quickly making exit and disappearing before they are out of ground. This meant they had time to get a few outside away end and at station and en route from one to other.

was the usual youth accompanied by a few older low lifes.

few punches thrown not much more and one of their more trampier element marched off by OB.

wem - ber - lee here we come .

One bloke came up to me at the station and told me that they were brilliant to win 1-0. I corrected him and said 1-1. I was in control of the situation but he was a bit lairy. He was angling for it though. Then, out of nowhere, two policeman absolutely took him out and I mean absolutely. He was quite agressive but not as much as the cops.

I turned round to see basically a baying mob of Shots fans (about 20/30 of them) and thought better of it so went and stood with Kenny and the rest.

About a minute later, some twat in a baseball cap came and bumped into me saying he was going to stab me. I told him to stop acting like a twat and to bugger off. Then I had enough and id'ed them all to the Police who got rid of them.

Aldershot really is full of twats.

COME ON YOU REDS!

To be fair to the ones on their message board, a good 75% are quite complimentary. There are only one or two dickheads eating sour grapes.

Only 'trouble' I saw after the game was a toothless drunk tramp-like bloke claiming they were going to win the league by shouting it in people's faces on the way down the hill and he just got laughed at. The old bill were out in numbers at the top of hill, didn't think to station anyone further down though. Great deployment strategy.
