Interesting game which was very well refereed. Town totally dominated (corner count 20-1 in their favour) but could not seem to shoot straight in front of goal. The spectators were a sociologist's dream with one teenager being the most perfect hermaphrodite you could ever wish to set your eyes upon. Headcount 93; officially given as 111. Nice ground for Step 5 but no tea bar. Coffee available from containers was stewed at 1.30 and completely undrinkable at half time.

Poor quality first half but end to end stuff all the way through. Both sides tried to get it down & play. SLB went ahead before h/t when our team parted like the Red Sea & the left back strolled through to score. We equalised about 10 mins from the end & I think a draw was probably a fair result. Both teams could have scored more on another day. Hope to get a few players back for Saturday as we had 14 injured/suspended/unavailable, but the reserves that stepped up did a good job.

Tringarmy is being modest to say the least as he kept his team in the game with various saves that prevented SLB taking the 3 points.

 

I would like to mention, despite what I was lead to believe before the season started, Sun Postal have been a joy to go to and receive. We have drawn both times. I come to the conclusion that they are a far better club at receiving the opposition than others I can mention.

Uncle Urchin - With respect there just seems to be a clique between Ian, Wader and your good self whenever making money from this site is brought up and you and Wader circle the wagons around Ian quicker than Ben Johnson was out of the blocks in Seoul in 1988
