Epic Proportions.

Twas a still and chilled evening. The shrill of bats hunting was in the air and it reminded the young warrior, as he lay on the soft cold soil, of how he liked to take the fight to his enemy, with speed and stealth. His father had taught him well and, since his death in the great war, the young warrior missed him deeply. This night was the night before the battle of all battles, the victor would have the begining of all beginings.Around him his fellow warriors lay beneath their rough bedding turning and making sleeping noises, but he knew they too were restless.Standing and stretching he vowed to all around him and to his forefathers that he would carry the might of the Gods onto the battle field that day, and declared to any that stood against him that victory could only be his, and his alone.Shame and sorrow would never plague the minds of his glorious men whilst breath remained in his chest."A wonderous time doth lay before us my brothers" he cried "let us take the hand of our guiding spirits and forge this day in the hearts and minds of lesser men.You are my strength and my courage as I am yours. Stand my brothers, stand and make ready and give nothing but fear to your enemies!" The outcome is yet to be written, but, be assured a battle it will be, and to the victor...........who knows.

Take heart, fight well, and all will be yours for the Gods favour the brave and the strong.
