Willenhall will be severely disappointed at not getting all 3 points and moving back into 6th place in a game they dominated throughout.

 

Oadby looked like a team still suffering the hangover from their Vase semi defeat and the collapse of their title challenge.

 

With title contenders Rushall and Stourbridge doing battle on the same night the teams performed in front of a small crowd and kept the die hards waiting till the 32nd minute before the first clear cut chance. Reds Hay found himself one on one with keeper Maruna, who's bravery denied the striker the opening goal.

 

Willenhall were forced to make an early sub, when Bullimore was forced off with hamstring problems, his replacement Swann had barely 10 minutes under his belt when he was involved in a nasty collision with Maruna, while he was withering on the floor Moseley blasted the loose ball into the unguarded net.

 

The second half produced no clear cut chances, and it took a controversial decision to give Oadby their only effort at goal. A highly debatable free kick was awarded on the edge of the box on 86 minutes, Orton's low shot was squeezed between keeper's Vaughan hands and the post.
